8th Annual Orangeville Open Golf Outing
Our 8th annual Orangeville Open Golf Outing was held at Mullenhurst Golf Course and was another huge success! We had 42 sponsors, 14 gift sponsors, 25 golf teams and raised $4629.26 for our Orangeville Community Soups On Program. A big Thank You to Dick Enyard for allowing us to utilize his golf course, Judy Kline for her hard work and dedication getting this years sponsors, all of the volunteers that helped the outing run smoothly and Grove Street Café for the awesome luncheon that was provided.
Our Food Sponsors were; Barry County Lumber, Gun Lake Business Association, Chemical Bank, Family Fare, Gun Lake Diner, Hinkle’s Auto Body, Sand Bar and Grill and Servo Innovations.

Delton Summer Fun
Every Tuesday and Thursday this summer, Delton Summer Fun Program will keep the Delton area kids and adults busy. This program is sponsored by Orangeville Community Outreach and the Delton parent group, Partners in Education (PIE). Delton Summer Fun is a free day of food and fun. More than 40 area kids with accompanying adults participate in this program. The program includes free breakfasts funded through a Delton Kellogg food service grant; programs through Barry County 4-H and MSU Extension; Delton District Library crafts and a summer reading program; a community garden sponsored by PIE; free lunches funded through the Delton Kelog food service grant; YMCA and Pennock Health and Wellness Center active play. Volunteers are provided by Orangeville Community Outreach.

The community garden is accepting financial donations, garden tools, garden fencing, garden stakes, empty flats for already purchased flowers and vegetable plants, watering cans, fruit trees, fruit bearing plants such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, seeds, flower and vegetable plants.
